Allow Yourself To Learn To Code And See What Happens
When I was 9 years old, I gave the house computer a virus. I honestly thought at the time that I was getting the latest StarCraft game on PC.
Fortunately, the old Pentium III got fixed by a tech wiz and all was forgotten, right?
Not really.
It all started with a simple pop-up that became a standard during the early days of the Internet.
Everything was free and new and I felt much smarter than I really was.
Apparently, that’s why I got hazed by an Internet forum when I unknowingly asked for a free game over the internet.
Little did I know that this would be one of the best experiences of my developer life.
Once the virus was cleaned, I wanted to understand what has happened. This time I was determined to not be tricked again.
Then I found a forum that had a better community of gamers and something I’ve never heard before: Modding.
What is modding?
Well, basically it means that you are able to create a game based on another game.
For example, let’s say you have a strategy game based on medieval times. You love the gameplay but playing it again feels repetitive.
